ABOUT LAURA HESP:

A leader and innovator in several fields, Laura Hesp is most recently the Founder & CEO of Inclusive Love; an organization that inspires self-love and healing through knowledge, forgiveness, and personal responsibility

In 2016, after a personal tragedy, Laura established Inclusive Love to connect to, advocate with, and fundraise for homeless youth and the complex intersection of oppression within these communities. She is well known for asking the ‘big questions’ about society, creating safe spaces for discussion, and pushing people out of their comfort zones to commit to inner-healing and growth

Through online and grassroots work she uses her voice to tackle taboo subjects like family trauma, addictions and recovery, disordered eating, white privilege, mental illness, violence against women, and our hetero-normative culture.

Since 2016, Laura has been covered by various outlets including the Toronto Star, Toronto Sun, CBC, Globe & Mail, Flare Magazine, and more. In 2017, she was nominated for 'Philanthropist of The Year' by the Notable Awards for her work in Philanthropy and building a better community in Canada.

In 2010 she began her career in Child & Youth Work, working in elementary and middle schools with children experiencing developmental delays, mental health issues, and abusive family dynamics. She went on to receive 2 additional years of Public Relations education which has helped her build her brand and gain over 15,000 dedicated community members.

Outside of work she loves hiking with her dog, dancing, binge-watching documentaries, and cooking for her friends.
